RETURNS POLICY
Our aim is to ensure you have the most satisfying and enjoyable online shopping experience; therefore we have developed our returns policy to do all we can to help make this possible.
hulahut.com.au is happy to exchange, credit or refund items as per the policy and process outlined below.
POLICY - we offer refunds, free exchanges or credit notes for incorrect sizing or change of mind!! Making purchasing from Hulahut.com.au as easy as possible!
• hulahut.com.au must be notified by email (mail@hulahut.com.au) about all returns an
exchanges within 10 days of the shipping date.
• The item/s must be unworn / unused, and unwashed. It must not be altered and importantly
must have all original tags attached.
• All items will be inspected upon receipt to assess and agree on the type of return.
• Return items that have been worn, damaged or altered from their original state will not be
exchanged or refunded, and will be returned to the customer.
• If the return email notification falls outside of the 10 days from the shipping date
hulahut.com.au will not refund, however will exchange or offer a credit note.
• hulahut.com.au will exchange at no additional outgoing delivery charge. This applies to
change of mind purchases, incorrect size and faulty garments. However please note that the
return postage cost of the original garment is your responsibility.
• Sale Items – we provide exchange or store credit only on sale items. No refunds will be given
unless the item is faulty.
• Faulty Items – if the item is faulty we will provide an exact replacement, however if we are
out of stock we will then offer a refund or credit note.
• Change of mind returns - we offer refunds, exchanges or credit notes. A $10.00 handling fee will be deducted from your total refunded amount if you prefer this option.
• Swimwear – we will only exchange or offer store credit on swimwear that has the original
hygiene stickers and tags attached.
• Original Delivery costs - we are unable to refund original shipping and handling costs, unless
the item is faulty or not as ordered.
• Store credits - are issued as online gift certificates that can be used toward future purchases.
• Refunds – monies for returned item/s will be refunded by the original means of payment.
• Exchanges – we cannot always guarantee that we will have your requested style / size for
your exchange. If this is the case we will notify you and suggest another option (store
credit or recommend an alternative garment).
• hulahut.com.au will process all returns within 1-7 days of receipt of the item.
PROCESS
1. If you would like to return or exchange an item to hulahut.com.au, you will firstly need to
email us (mail@hulahut.com.au) outlining the reason for the return and details of the
exchange if applicable (size, colour, style).
2. We will then issue you with an authorisation number, outlining the type of return
requested (exchange / refund / store credit). You must include the authorisation number in
the package with your returned item. This will ensure that we keep track of your details so
that your return will be sorted quickly and efficiently.
3. You will then need to post your return to hulahut.com.au (PO Box 417, Nelson Bay,
2315) for inspection and confirmation of return type. We recommend express post where
you can track your postage to ensure it arrives safely.
• When posting the return, please include a copy of the original invoice or the original
order (details such as the order number, name, delivery address and phone number)
along with your authorisation number.
4. Once hulahut.com.au receives your return, we will then assess the garment and send you
an email confirming the type of return (refund / credit note / exchange).
5. Your return will then be processed or delivered to you within 5 days.
